Rebecca’s Red Velvet

Named for my grandmother Rebecca, this red velvet pound cake is one of a kind and a showstopper just like her. This delicious cake is a treat for your senses. From the beautiful red hue, (red also happened to be my grandmother’s favorite color, she was known to turn heads when she sported one of her beautiful red hats on Sunday), the tantalizing smell from the hints of cocoa and vanilla in this moist cake, and a rich cream cheese glaze topped with roasted pecans, this decadent cake is sure to be unforgettable...just like my Grandma Rebecca.
